One Day Olive Harvesting in Halikarnasos is one of the most authentic seasonal experiences in Bodrum — perfect for travelers who want to take part in a real Aegean olive harvest and learn how "liquid gold" is made.

Morning Harvest
The day starts early as you meet at the olive orchards, work together to place the nets beneath the trees, and begin harvesting. Before breakfast is served, you will have the chance to collect up to three packs of olives (40 kg each) while tea and coffee are prepared over a wood fire.

Countryside Breakfast
A rich breakfast follows, featuring a variety of olives, olive oil, tomatoes, and cheeses — the perfect fuel to continue harvesting through the morning.

Harvesting & Friendly Competition
After breakfast, harvesting continues with a friendly competition to see who collects the most olives. Later in the afternoon, you'll enjoy snacks by the fire — depending on the day, this may be an English-style high tea with cookies and cakes, or wood-fire grilling such as sucuk (Turkish sausage) or chicken wings.
